Know your soil
These days‟ people are concerned about health, that‟s why people have monthly check up, yearly check-up and so on. But have you ever wonder about the so called home-cook food constituents?
Today‟s world is eating crops grown in the soil that is heavily contaminated with heavy metals (Cadmium, lead, mercury, arsenic, chromium, zinc, copper, etc.), chemicals (chemical fertilizer, pesticides, insecticides, industrial effluent, etc.). It‟s not the type of mineral but its quantity or proportion in soil that causes toxic effects. Our forefather used cow dung, kitchen waste, plant & agricultural waste in traditional way to keep the soil fertile and healthy.
The food is meant to provide body all nutrients for trillions of cells to remain healthy and for the purpose of good taste. Our digestive system is meant to digest & absorb nutrients and not to process and destroy toxins on daily basis. Life these days has shifted to wrong side due to ignorance. Let‟s become aware about our food, how it is grown and what type of soil is used during its growth.
The more we follow nature‟s basic principles, the more our body tend to remains healthy.
